History and Experience
I returned to my native Scotland in 2005 with qualifications I earned in California between 1992 and 2005. I gained my M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child therapy in 1994 at Phillips Graduate Institute in Encino, California, and achieved more than 3000 hours of experience with clients.

I worked for five years as a counsellor and hotline advisor at the local sexual assault therapy centre in Northridge, California.

Legal and Ethical Facts
I have been accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) since 2003, and follow their Code of Ethics and am subject to their complaints procedure.

I am insured by Towergate Professional Risks. I consult regularly with a fellow member of BACP as a supervisor.
